Hammer'N'Ales Wargames Club - The Green Dragon, Watnall Road, Hucknall. Tuesday Nights 7.30 till 11.00 & every Sunday 3.00/4.00 till late. Over 18's only due to licensing restrictions I'm afraid. No membership fees.

We play Confrontation (3.x), Hell Dorado, Infinity, BFG, Alzo Zero WWII, Necromunda, WFB, WH40k, Blood Bowl, historicals in various eras and settings, Wizkids Pirates games, All Things Zombie, Talisman, Munchkin, Clix, LoTR, AT-43, Alkemy, Space Hulk, War Machine/Hordes, Monsterpocalypse, Black Powder and just about anything else anyone wants to try out, we are mostly an open-minded lot!

Current games regularly played include Confrontation (3.x), Infinity, WFB & WH40k, Hell Dorado, War Machine/Hordes, Alkemy & All Things Zombie. (dated 10/04/09)

We currently have around 15 members and more are always welcome! To contact us please PM either "McCranky" or myself via this board.

There is car parking at the Green Dragon pub, we are also approximately 5-10 minutes walk from trams into Nottingham and trains (Robin Hood Line) at Hucknall railway station Map Link. The Trent Barton Buses Rainbow 3 service from Nottingham to Mansfield stops in Hucknall market place about 4-5 minutes walk from the Green Dragon and runs regularly until late Timetable Link Route Link

The tram is probably the most convenient and cost effective way to get to Hucknall by public transport from Nottingham city centre, taking approximately 30-45 mins depending on the time of day to get from Nottingham railway station to Hucknall. The tram back at 11.00pm on Tuesday evenings gets into Nottingham for 11.30pm. A day ticket, allowing unlimited travel costs £2.70, a Kangaroo, allowing unlimited travel on local trains, buses and trams costs £3.40 .

Ha, yeah that's right. I should be coming down if I pass my exams (Oh god sociology synopsis tomorrow which I think I might fail). I don't know how often I'll be able to make it to the club but I will try to make it down every now and again, I checked google maps and it's 20 minutes drive from my accommodation. I'm going to have to go down at least once time before I start university.
